At Alusteel, we create partnerships with our customers in the role of subcontractors. This means that we make many small and large constructions for our customers. They consist of everything from stand-alone components to complex items that are either part of our customers’ production flow or are largely ready for sale. We have developed the company greatly in recent years, so that we can handle our constructions in-house even more. We are busy working with automation already and have recently integrated a powder coating plant in our production.
As a subcontractor, we must deliver on time, in the right quality, at the right price in the right place. Despite often ‘impossible’ deadlines. We provide our customers with interplay for growth. It may sound like a toast, but those are the goals we deliver daily.

Values are not something we talk about; it is something we do.
The headline is the words of Tina Kirkegaard Eriksen. She is head of human resources at Alusteel. She says: “Alusteel is a place where people are happy to be. We share several basic attitudes: We are enjoying freedom with responsibility. We have a professional pride across all functions in the company. And we keep our word.
In other words, we do not talk as much about our values as you might do in Copenhagen. But we act on them. And due to our common basic attitude to work, we also have long employment practices. So, if you thrive in varied working days and great self-determination, you will become one of the employees who have a long career with us.
Every three months, we hold an information meeting for everyone in the company, where the management informs about what has happened since the last time – and what will happen henceforth. Subsequently, all the attendees at the meeting are free to speak.
When you apply for a position at our company, we look more at your attitude to the world and your desires to learn – than to your formal competencies. A large part of the competence development takes place via peer training, while of course you get the courses that are necessary to obtain the necessary certifications, etc.

Become a trainee at Alusteel
It starts with a plate of maybe 2 or 4 meters. As you with your ingenuity and the latest technology fold, bend, and laser cut. You weld it together with other parts, deburr, sand, and prepare for finishing with glass or sandblasting. Or powder coating. And suddenly you have created a valuable product.
You learn to work in metal, code machines, test customers’ programming, press start to then see a result.
It is awesome to be a blacksmith. Good blacksmiths are highly coveted, and we create good blacksmiths.
