Inwatec – from one man to the world market
Back in 2009, we were contacted by Inwatec. At the time they had only one employee, but they dreamt of revolutionizing the laundry business by automating the winding of floor mats after washing them.
They had no intentions of producing the steel parts themselves, and thus were looking for a subcontractor. From the start it was a perfect match, as the constructions of Inwatec were based almost 100% on bent and welded body parts.
Through the years Inwatec has developed a great portfolio of standardized modules, which they assemble through their installations for automations of work processes at launderettes across the world. We have discussed the constructions with Inwatec, to be able to keep them simple and easy to manufacture. Together, there has been a mutual understanding, to avoid complicating matters further. This takes a great deal of trust, from both parts. The orders vary from standard machines to big, customized projects, where we to this day send the invoice after the work is done. This tells you something about the trust that has been build, through the years.
Today, Inwatec houses 55 employees, and the growth of the company is expected to continue, for many years to come.
Our strengths in the partnership with a customer as Inwatec is great flexibility in the production, fast and safe delivery of products with our own trucks as well as the discussions we have had with the constructors.
Prospectively, our ability to do the powder lacquering of constructions will strengthen our flexibility and increase our competitiveness even further.
